Diagnostic Development Manager
Yvonne is Special Haematology Lead and Diagnostic Development Manager, for Blood Sciences GSTT. Yvonne has over 10 years experience in the laboratory diagnosis of haemoglobinopathies and white cell malignancies at the protein, using flow cytometry and HPLC and molecular level.
Yvonne gained her primary qualifications in New Zealand, completed an MSc in Biomedical Science at University of Westminster and is currently in the final stages of a PhD at Kings College, London, on the development of a new screening technique for haemoglobinopathies using MSMS.
Yvonne has published a number of papers and given presentations at national and international conferences. Yvonne is also a lecturer on haemoglobinopathy diagnosis at the University of Westminster, London.
