Started at GSTT in 2002 as a senior in Chemical Pathology, became an specialised Chief Biomedical scientist in 2003 in Paediatric Metabolic Biochemistry and was the lead scientist for analytic and clinical interpretation of Organic Acids. Became operations manager for Metabolic, Purine and specialised chemistry Laboratories in 2006 after having my first child and then delivery unit manager in 2007 after my second child. In 2003 started the IBMS Clinical Chemistry Discussion Group for London and was Chair. Sat on numerous committees such as trust & pan London healthcare scientists awareness group and BMS metabolic training committees. Main scientific interests are metabolic biochemistry, loves a challenge and enjoys a good work life balance.
