Dr Dominic Harrington is a Consultant Clinical Scientist and Honorary Senior Lecturer (King’s College London). He has a longstanding interest in the use of blood concentrations of vitamins and their respective functional indicators to define status. Dominic established the Nutristasis Unit and has a proven track record in the development and clinical application of novel assays, with special reference to haemostasis and thrombosis. His publication record is predominantly focussed on vitamin K and the study of oral anticoagulation resistance.
Dominic is the Director of the UK NEQAS vitamin K (KEQAS) quality assurance programme and was recently awarded Chartered Quality Professional status by the Institute of Quality Assurance.
