Operations Manager
Claire brings 16 years experience in the pre and post analytical aspect of the laboratories. Starting in the NHS in 1993 as a Medical Laboratory Assistant within Guys and St Thomas’ through to the role of Operations Manager of Central Specimen Reception which she holds today.
In 1994 she moved on to become a Customer Service Liaison Officer within the same Trust. In 1997 the project to create a Central Specimen Reception (CSR) was formed, Claire became one of the key people in getting the department designed and implemented successfully. Claire then became a supervisor within the CSR function. In 2002 Claire took on the Operations Manager role for CSR, during the course of her time she has gained Managerial qualifications and has also become an NVQ Internal Verifier for Customer Service.
